Detailed Purpose & Use Case

Use this form when changing jobs to transfer your accumulated PF corpus and service history from your previous employer's PF account (Member ID) to your new employer's active PF account. This maintains your service continuity and ensures compound interest is earned.

🌐 How to Submit Online (Fast Track)

Online submission is highly recommended by EPFO. It bypasses physical employer approvals if your Aadhaar is successfully linked.

Log into the EPFO Member Unified Portal using your UAN.

Go to 'Online Services' in the header menu and select 'One Member – One EPF Account (Transfer Request)'.

Verify your personal details and current employer's active PF account details.

Under 'Step 1', choose whether you want your previous employer or present employer to attest and approve the transfer request.

Enter your previous Member ID or UAN and click 'Get Details'. Select the specific previous account you wish to transfer.

Click 'Get OTP' to receive a verification code on your Aadhaar-registered mobile phone.

Enter the OTP and click 'Submit' to initiate the transfer. Your selected employer will review and digitally sign the request, after which EPFO will process it.

Use this method only if you cannot access the online portal, or if your Aadhaar is not linked to your UAN.

Fill in all sections including Part A (Personal Details), Part B (Details of Previous Account), and Part C (Details of Present Account).

Sign the form and submit the physical copy to your chosen employer (previous or present) for attestation.

Once verified, submit the attested physical form to the regional EPFO office.
