Submitting via Face Authentication

EPFO pensioners can now submit their Digital Life Certificate (DLC) directly from home using face biometrics. This bypasses the need for external fingerprint scanner hardware.

Install Requirements: Download the official Aadhaar FaceRD app by UIDAI and the Jeevan Pramaan app from the Play Store.

Operator Registration: Open the app and perform operator authentication. Enter your Aadhaar, email, and phone. Scan your face to register the operator (pensioner can act as operator).

Enter Pensioner Details: Provide the pensioner's Aadhaar, PPO number (if you don't know it, check how to find your PPO number online), select "EPFO" as the Sanctioning Authority, and enter the bank account details where your pension is disbursed.

Scan Face & Submit: Position the front camera in clear lighting. Steady the device and blink to confirm live scan. Once verified, the DLC is uploaded and your Pramaan ID will be generated.

⚠️ Critical Submission Rules:

Ensure PPO numbers are entered exactly as printed in your retirement papers. Simple spaces or hyphens can cause verification failure.
If you have retired from multiple establishments with multiple PPOs, you must perform separate scans and submissions for each PPO.
Verify that Aadhaar is linked to your bank account and PPO record before initiating Face Authentication.
