Common KYC Problems & Solutions

Your employer has not logged in to approve your KYC. Email your HR department or payroll team with your UAN and request them to approve KYC on the employer portal within 7 working days.
The name in your EPFO records must match your Aadhaar exactly. Submit a Joint Declaration Form to your EPFO regional office with employer signature to update your name in EPFO records. OR correct the name on Aadhaar at a nearby Aadhaar centre.
Ensure your mobile number is linked to Aadhaar. If not, visit your nearest Aadhaar centre (post office or bank) to update your mobile number. It takes 24-72 hours to update.
Ensure the bank account is active and the name, account number, and IFSC match exactly. Joint accounts are not accepted — use only your own individual account.
